We have been receiving calls with peoples Arenas reportedly riding deep. This is all a result of the long dry spell we are currently enduring.
Your surface needs moisture to stick it all together, much like the wet sand on the beach.
To maintain a firm surface water needs to be applied to wet the sand, this would best be done now by using water from a pond or lake either by gravity or pumped to a sprinkler on the surface . we are not irrigation specialists so are making suggestions to assist those practicle people in maintaing their surfaces.
The adjacent image is of an automated pourous pipe irrigation system being installed at Arena construction time, this is an extremly effecient and inexpensive way of getting water in the sand by capilary action.
Clearly those people who have invested in Waxed Surfaces will also now be reaping the benefit of a consistantly firm surface too .
